This two-level interior project boasts a rich history and is filled with thoughtful, personalized, and practical solutions inspired by the residents' travels, experiences, and interests. Key aspects of the design include ease of cleaning (such as ensuring accessibility for a cleaning robot) and minimalism that fosters focus on what truly matters.
The space was designed to be clear, cohesive, organized, and open, avoiding an overwhelming feel. The layout includes distinct zones, a color palette inspired by nature (stone, wood, whites, and grays), and room for natural greenery.
The concept centered on the activities the interior would support, the passions it would nurture, and the emotions it would evoke. This home is open to friends, creativity, and the development of artistic endeavors.
Every square meter exudes a welcoming atmosphere and positive energy, reflecting the story of its residents. Each element has a purpose, avoiding unnecessary clutter or overstimulation.
Sustainability, cost optimization, and automation of key processes were also prioritized, catering to the residents' busy lifestyle and frequent travels. The presence of their beloved pet influenced material choices, ensuring durability and practicality.
Area: 120 m2
Location: Rzeszów
The first level, referred to by the residents as the “Hygge Zone,” features muted tones and minimal electronics, limited to music systems, home automation, and thermostat controls. Built-in wardrobes, tailored for specific storage needs, ensure a clutter-free environment. Loft-style black accents contrast beautifully with white walls.
The staircase, illuminated by warm LED lights hidden in the handrails, connects both floors. It features a cozy display area for travel mementos, shoe storage, a mirror, art, and a corner for pet grooming.
The kitchen in this apartment is a crucial space focused on practicality and constant use. It features numerous storage solutions, optimal zone division, space utilization, and easy maintenance. The island-table dilemma was resolved by incorporating both, allowing seating for up to 10 people - perfect for ramen feasts with friends or long gaming sessions. Composite countertops enabled an undermount sink and flush-mounted induction cooktop, creating a seamless workspace. Servo-assisted waste sorting bins, cleaning supply storage, kidney-shaped corner units for maximum corner utilization, and cargo systems provide convenient access to products. Clean, filtered drinking water runs through a separate circuit from the same tap used for washing vegetables and dishes, with the filter concealed under the island.
The living room flows naturally from the kitchen. A fully exposed corridor, flanked by large windows on both ends, fills the interior with natural light. The space accommodates a bio fireplace, a practical elevated sofa, coffee table, and built-in cabinet concealing outlets and small electrical devices. The entire home's electrical installation is designed to be as unobtrusive as possible. Windows can be covered with blackout curtains, with the curtain rods concealed behind covers.

The west-facing bedroom is an electronics-free zone, with the only exception being an air purifier. A large, elevated bed with a carefully selected mattress promotes restful sleep. The woman's side is easily identifiable by the adjacent vanity that seamlessly transitions into a built-in wardrobe. The wardrobe contains two identical closets, custom-designed with zones dedicated to specific types of clothing and accessories.

The bathroom welcomes you with a beauty dish-style illuminated mirror above a vessel sink mounted on a large cabinet with drawers. The drawer heights are purposeful - the bottom one conceals power outlets and USB ports for charging devices without cluttering the counter. To the right, an eye-catching loft-style ceiling-mounted towel holder complements other industrial-style accessories. A spacious shower enclosure features a concealed in-wall system and built-in storage for essential toiletries. Adjacent is a washer-dryer unit with hidden doors and additional storage space. The highlight is a Japanese-style toilet with bidet functionality, inspired by travels to Japan and its superior hygiene standards. All necessary plumbing is concealed within the built-in structures.

The relaxation area includes a large comfortable sofa, projector, and a lighting system that adapts its colors to different occasions. Personal touches highlight the residents' individuality. This floor also includes dedicated zones for work, exercise, and storage, along with a spacious bathroom featuring a comfortable bathtub and sauna.
The attic is a creative smart-home open space, divided into several zones that have been thought through in the smallest details. It's a space full of original solutions and individual elements, designed for creating, exercising, entertainment, and meeting with friends. It was designed from scratch, including installations and walls.
A bright staircase illuminated by projectors and a light strip in the handrail, which is a smooth continuation of the motif used below, leads us to the attic. At the top, an original ledon with an important, worth remembering message welcomes us.
The workspace is located directly next to the stairs with a black railing mounted to the front of a wall. A large, vertical gaming desk from SecretLab perfectly fills the width of the staircase, providing a high level of comfort along with an ergonomic chair. Sitting at it, one can see the entrance while having plenty of open space behind. All wiring is hidden, including the power cable for the entire system, which comes out of the floor. The clean wall behind the monitor is illuminated during work, reflecting the color seen on the screen for eye comfort.
Just behind the desk is an open fitness and VR zone - wall-mounted sensors and proximity to the computer enable unrestricted play in virtual reality. The same space is used for training. The storage under the slope contains all necessary accessories (and more awesome stuff), and a wall-mounted ladder increases the range of exercises that can be performed.
On the other side is a cinema relaxation zone. The wall from the bathroom serves as a projection screen where images can be displayed from multiple sources - one of them is a wall-mounted HDMI socket next to the long-seated sofa, to which you can connect a laptop, for example. Additionally, an Android Box and a game console are connected to the device that collects all sources. A custom solution built from Philips Hue system components is responsible for increasing image immersion with lighting effects, extending what we observe on the wall to almost the entire attic space. It works great during movies or cooperative gaming sessions. It can also be synchronized with music and divided into zones.
All control and source devices are hidden in a white, closable cabinet hanging on the mentioned wall, which also contains hidden doors and a hidden skirting board. The amount of visible wiring and electronic equipment has been reduced to a minimum. Sound experiences are handled by a soundbar with a wirelessly connected subwoofer.
The sofa's seating is long and comfortable. It is also equipped with a sleeping function, in case more guests arrive overnight, which often happens. A large, original, internally illuminated graphic in an aluminum frame hangs above the sofa. Like many other light sources, it is connected to the Hue system, allowing for the creation of interesting, mood lighting scenes. This is just one of the smart solutions found in this interior.
Near the second slopes, there are places to display "important" things on exposed cabinets and comfortable poufs.
The space was designed so that an additional room can be easily separated. There is room for a lot of greenery, which complements the chosen color scheme of the materials and paints used, and most importantly adds coziness and naturalness.

The spacious bathroom, maintained in a minimalist Bali style, is full of space and greenery. There is room for a large freestanding bathtub in the bathing area under the window, which is surrounded by tree stumps serving as planters on two sides. Opposite the entrance is a wide cabinet with a white conglomerate countertop, contrasting with a river stone sink. Above it hangs a large mirror illuminated from below, behind which are tiles in color and form reminiscent of bamboo. The floor references natural stones, and the walls are covered with waterproof paint that helps maintain cleanliness and comfort.
We also managed to include a regenerative dry IR sauna that comfortably fits 3 people (or more). Next to it is a bench where one can rest between hot sessions. The mood-setting warm lighting hidden in the shelves above the toilet and bathtub works great during sauna or bathing time.
